Welcome and thank you for your interest in MeetHousePros by MotinaTech LLC ("MeetHousePros," "us," "our," or "we"). By clicking a registration or new account submission button, or by otherwise using our websites, mobile applications, or other services (collectively, the "Services"), or accessing any content provided by us, you agree to be bound by the following terms of use, as updated from time to time (the "Terms of Use").

This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it, along with the tools you can use to manage your privacy.

Who We Are: MeetHousePros is an app developed by MotinaTech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") offers services focused on connecting Homeowners (users seeking services) with vetted House Pros (service providers) for repair and home improvement services in the United States.

1. MeetHousePros' Role

The Services are designed to connect Homeowners (users seeking services) with House Pros (vetted service professionals) for repair and home improvement services.

A. Services are for Connection Only.

MeetHousePros is a technology platform and a venue for users to meet. We are not a party to any agreement between a Homeowner and a House Pro. We do not hire, employ, or endorse any House Pro, nor do we guarantee the quality, suitability, or safety of any services performed. You understand and agree that the Services do not provide professional advice of any kind (e.g., legal, financial, or engineering advice). You assume all risks associated with hiring or contracting for services through the platform.

B. Advertisements.

The Services may include advertisements. To help make these relevant, we may serve advertisements based on the information we collect. See our Privacy Notice for more details.

2. Eligibility; Accounts and Registration

A. Eligibility.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have not previously been suspended or removed from the Services; and (c) your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

B. Accounts and Information.

To access certain features, you must register for an account (either as a Homeowner or a House Pro). You agree that the information you provide (email, phone number, licensing details, etc.) is accurate, truthful, and that you will keep it accurate and up-to-date at all times.

C. Account Security.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and are responsible for all actions taken via your account. You may not share your user account(s) with others.

3. Use of the Services; Restrictions

A. License to Use

As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, we grant you a non-exclusive, limited, revocable, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services and our mobile application ("App") for your personal use (Homeowners) or professional use related to your business activities within the platform (House Pros).

B. Mobile Applications.

To use the App, you must have a compatible mobile device. We do not warrant that the App will be compatible with your device. You are responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless provider for using the App.

C. No Commercial Real Estate.

The Services may not be used for transactions in commercial real estate or properties not intended for residential purposes.

4. Prohibited Use BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE NOT TO:

  • Reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any portion of the Services.
  • Remove or modify any copyright or other intellectual property notices that appear in the Services. Reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any portion of the Services.
  • Use the Services in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harms MeetHousePros, its users, or partners.
  • Use the Services in any way to discriminate against any individual or class of individuals protected under federal, state, or local anti-discrimination laws (e.g., based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, or disability).
  • Post or distribute spam, unsolicited messages, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Upload invalid data, viruses, worms, or other malicious software agents.
  • Reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any portion of the Services.
  • Post any content that we, in our sole judgment, consider illegal, offensive, objectionable, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening.
  • Interfere with or compromise the system integrity or security of the Services (e.g., conducting automated queries or scraping).
  • Access or use the Services to develop competitive products or services.
A. License to Use

As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, we grant you a non-exclusive, limited, revocable, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services and our mobile application ("App") for your personal use (Homeowners) or professional use related to your business activities within the platform (House Pros).

5. Fees and Payment

A. Generally.

You may be required to pay fees to access certain features of the Services (e.g., Pro subscription fees, service fees, or payment processing fees). All fees are in U.S. dollars and are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

B. Payment Authorization.

You authorize us or our authorized third-party payment processors to charge the payment method you specified for all fees owed for the Services you select. If you pay with a credit card, we may seek pre-authorization to verify validity and available funds.

C. Subscriptions.

If you activate a recurring payment feature (e.g., a Pro subscription), you authorize us to periodically charge all accrued sums until cancellation. You must cancel your Subscription Service before it renews to avoid billing for the next period. We will provide advance notice of any change to the subscription fee.

6. User Materials and Content

A. Definition and License Grant.

Certain portions of the Services allow users to upload images, photos, videos, data, text, reviews, and other content ("User Materials"). By providing User Materials, you grant MeetHousePros an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free worldwide license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, reproduce, edit, modify, and translate your User Materials in connection with the Services or in any other media.

B. Responsibility for User Materials.

You are solely responsible for all User Materials provided through your account. You represent and warrant that you are the creator and owner of the User Materials or have the necessary licenses, rights, and permissions to authorize MeetHousePros to use them as contemplated by these Terms of Use.

C. Reviews and Ratings.

The Services may include a feature for Homeowners to provide ratings and reviews of House Pros. You acknowledge that these reviews are the opinions of other users and are not guaranteed by MeetHousePros to be accurate. We are not liable for any content posted in ratings or reviews.

D. Disclaimer.

We are under no obligation to edit or control User Materials and are not responsible for them. We reserve the right to screen, remove, or block any User Materials that, in our sole judgment, violate these Terms of Use.

7. Third-Party Services and Linked Websites

A. Third-Party Providers.

The Services include links to third-party products, services, and websites (e.g., payment processors, maps) and may allow the distribution of your information to these parties ("Third-Party Providers").

B. Disclaimer.

Third-Party Providers are solely responsible for their services. Your use of third-party sites or products is subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies, which you are solely responsible for complying with. We do not endorse, and take no responsibility for, such third-party products, services, or websites.

C. Referrals.

By using a tool that connects you with a Third-Party Provider, you agree that we may transfer the necessary information to them. You acknowledge that MeetHousePros may be paid consideration for facilitating such connections (e.g., a referral fee from a partner).

D. Disclaimer.

We are under no obligation to edit or control User Materials and are not responsible for them. We reserve the right to screen, remove, or block any User Materials that, in our sole judgment, violate these Terms of Use.

D. Additional Terms.

Certain third-party tools are subject to additional terms, including, but not limited to:

  • Google Maps: Subject to Google’s terms of use and Privacy Policy.
  • Payment Processor (e.g., Stripe): Your use of the payment functionality is subject to the processor's terms (e.g., the Stripe Connected Account Agreement).

8. Intellectual Property

The Services are owned and operated by MotinaTech LLC. The user interfaces, design, information, data, code, software, and all other elements of the Services (the "MeetHousePros Materials") are protected by intellectual property laws and are the property of MotinaTech LLC or its third-party licensors. You may not use the MeetHousePros Materials except as expressly allowed by these Terms of Use. The Services include links to third-party products, services, and websites (e.g., payment processors, maps) and may allow the distribution of your information to these parties ("Third-Party Providers").

9. Deactivation, Suspension, and Termination

A. Termination by You.

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time by following the instructions in your account settings or by submitting a request to us. You remain obligated to pay all outstanding fees incurred prior to termination.

B. Termination by Us.

If you violate any provision of these Terms of Use, your permission to use the Services will terminate automatically. In addition, we may, in our sole discretion, deactivate, suspend, or terminate your access to your account and the Services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. We will not be liable for any change to the Services or any suspension or termination of your access.

MeetHousePros will collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Please consult our Privacy Notice for more information, which is incorporated into, and made a part of, these Terms of Use.

B. Other Terms.

Your use of the Services is subject to all additional guidelines, rules, and agreements applicable to the Services that we may post or link to from the Services (e.g., a "Code of Conduct" for Pros or a "Community Guidelines" policy). All such terms are incorporated into, and made a part of, these Terms of Use.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeetHousePros by MotinaTech LLC, our affiliates, and our respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Services;
  • Your violation of these Terms of Use or any applicable law or regulation;
  • Any agreement or contract entered into between you and a Homeowner or House Pro;
  • Your User Materials; or
  • Your negligence or willful misconduct.
